Most of the time outdoor wireless internet devices have technological appearance without any exclusivity and brand recognition. Our task as designers was to create unique distinctive look. We concentrated on simple but interesting form which is dynamic, smooth and good looking in urban environment. Dynamic of the form is created by using disappearing lines which start from the top chamfered edge to the bottom rounded surface. From the side view very clear smooth line represents speed and creates an allusion to the company’s logo. LigoDLB series devices are used for the outdoor hotspot and other related applications. After the firmware upgrade DLB devices are converted into access points for outdoor hotspot networks.
